One Day Inter Collegiate Workshop on “Bonsai – Techniques and Skills” was organized by Department of Botany on 10th October 2019. Technical persons for the workshop was Mr. Vijay Dhawale and Mrs. Anuradha Dhawale of Akola Garden Club, Akola, who deliver lecture on Bonsai and then demonstrate the process of Bonsai development followed by hands on training session of students. About 53 students of 3 colleges participated in the workshop.
For this workshop secretary of Mahatma Phule Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Shri. Harishji Bochare was present as chief guest and officiating principal Dr. A.M.Shirbhate was present as the president of programme. Co-ordinator Dr. S.P.Dakhore put the preface for workshop and Organizing secretary Prof. S.S. Choudhari proposed vote of thanks.
